Isaac Lynn Black Dog, age 46, passed away Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Roosevelt Memorial Medical Center in Culbertson, MT due to diabetic complications.
Isaac was born November 1, 1963 to Cecelia M. and Robert O. Black Dog in Poplar. He obtained an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Graphics from Fort Peck Community College in 2000. He obtained his GED, February, 1984 after having attended school in Brockton. Isaac lived his entire life in Fort Kipp, MT.
Isaac liked to sing with his brothers. He liked to listen to music, especially the rock group, KISS. He enjoyed playing his guitar and his bass. He loved being with his brothers, and at times, evaluated their music, which encouraged them to work even harder. Cookouts were always a thrill for Isaac, as well as the joy he had fishing with sister, Cynthia, brother-in-law, Leonard, Sr., his nieces and nephews.
Isaac’s nephew, Leonard, Jr. loved to spend time with his uncle. He would gladly drive Isaac around when ever he needed to go someplace; wanted to cruise or just visit. Isaac loved buying movies and going to Williston with cousin, Les Long Hair.
Isaac had a long-time friend, Lila Spider, who predeceased him. He would always talk about Lila and kept pictures of her. He so enjoyed spending time with Lila when she was living.
Isaac worked part-time for Associated Cleaning in Wolf Point; was involved in meetings and gatherings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Wolf Point; and thoroughly enjoyed art, drawing mostly sketches. Isaac helped the community with this talent by designing pictures for jackets and t-shirts. In addition, he made signs for the Presbyterian Church and Head Start in Fort Kipp. He drew comic book heroes for family and friends and pictures of KISS. Isaac collected comic books and related artifacts.
Isaac Lynn Black Dog is survived by his sister, Cynthia J. Follette (Leonard, Sr.) of Fort Kipp, MT; brothers Charles R. Black Dog and Duane A. (Valerie) Black Dog of Fort Kipp, MT; William Dale (Betty) Black Dog and Robert O. (Liz) Black Dog, Jr. of Poplar, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
