Isaac Raymond Four Bear, 33, of Brockton, MT passed away at the Northeastern Montana Health Service in Poplar on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
Isaac was born on January 10, 1978 in Poplar, MT to Theresa Four Bear and Harold Red Eagle Sr. He attended school in Brockton where he played basketball. His favorite past time was sitting at home watching movies, listening to music, or just joking around making people laugh. Isaac also enjoyed singing at powwows or at any kind of gathering that involved singing. He liked dancing in street clothes contests at powwows and also enjoyed dressing up at masquerades where he sometimes placed. Isaac was a comical guy. He loved spending time with his special niece, Mya, whom he called “Baby” and loved very much.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa (Ray) Four Bear of Brockton; two sisters, Kimberly Red Eagle and Natalie Red Eagle of Brockton; one brother, Harold Red Eagle Jr. of Poplar; maternal grandmother, Pearl Four Bear of Brockton; paternal grandmother, Betty (William) Black Dog of Poplar; aunts, Irene Evenson of Brockton, Maureen (Rick) Dionne of Poplar; uncles, Myron and Dennis Four Bear; adopted parents, Marvin and Amanda Bull Chief of Poplar; adopted dad, Donnie Buck Elk of Blair, MT; sons, Connor Ray, baby Isaac, Maurice and Byron Four Bear; daughters, Christiana and Tru Four Bear and Valerie Big Leggins; adopted brothers, Ira “Totzy” Track, Raymond “Sonny” Track, adopted sisters, Sherri Demarrias and Denise Fast Horse.
Isaac is also survived by his wife, Dallas Big Leggins and a special friend, Lynnette Shields.
He will be joining his dad, Harold Red Eagle, Sr.; brother, Phillip Four Bear; sister, Mandy Red Eagle; grandfathers, Irvin Four Bear and Delmar Red Eagle Sr.; uncles, Emery, Dennis, Delmar Jr., and Darryl Red Eagle and Kevin Four Bear.
Son, remember we’ll always love you and you’ll always be in our hearts always and forever.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Friday, August 19, at the Brockton Cultural Center in Brockton, MT. Isaac’s funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20, also at the Brockton Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Fort Kipp Cemetery in Fort Kipp, MT.
