James Dean Youngman

March 20, 1956 — June 15, 2010

James Youngman, age 54, of Poplar, MT, went home to be with the Lord following a long illness on June 15, 2010 in Lexington, KY.

James Dean Youngman was born March 20, 1956, to Lawrence and Shirley Youngman of Poplar, MT. He attended Poplar Schools.

James had 2 children with Shari Thompson; Shirley Thompson and Everett Thompson and his grandkids, Jerome Thompson, Patrick, Oscar, Wambli, and Katie Ann.

James worked at A&S Tribal Industries as well as firefighting.

James enjoyed playing horseshoes, going to basketball games, and hanging out with his friends.

James is survived by one sister, Patricia Youngman; his niece, Heather Youngman; and his nephew; his aunties, Rita Longchase and Florence Eagleman; and uncle, Mike Youngman, all of Poplar.

James Youngman is preceded in death by his dad, Lawrence Youngman; mother, Shirley Iron Bear; his brothers, Roland Youngman and Wilbert Youngman; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Theresa Washington; paternal grandfather, William Youngman Sr.; and his son, Travis Youngman, all of Poplar, MT.

A wake will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 also at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Box Elder Cemetery, Poplar.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
