James Wayne Jackson Sr., 38, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born on September 22, 1981 to Wilbert “Chief” Jackson and Cynthia “Rae” Hall.
He attended school in Frazer, Montana. He enjoyed Wild Horse Racing with his brothers and cousins. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He worked seismograph with brothers and cousins.
James is survived by his mother, Cynthia “Rae”; children, Justice, Justin, Joshlynn, and Jesse of Poplar and Gabriella of South Dakota; only granddaughter, Kenia Rae Roberta Whitehawk; brothers, Wilbert “Willie”, Michael “Mikey”, and Aaron; sisters, Mary, Shannon, Charmaine and Angelica (Chance) Love; aunties, Mary Sue Jackson, Wilberta Toavs, and Lupe St. Germaine; uncle, Darrel Jackson; grandma, Arlene Jackson; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
James is preceded in death by his grandpa, Wilbert Jackson; grandpa, August Hayes; grandma, Mary Hayes; father, Wilbert Jackson; step-mom, Francis Jackson; uncles, Clarence “Indian” Jackson, Emerson Jackson, James “Jimmy” Jackson (his namesake), Cody Jackson, and Holt Jackson; aunt, Roselyn “Toni” Jackson; son, James Jackson Jr.; sister, Carlene Jackson; cousins he took as brothers and sisters, Stonewall Jackson, Jordie Jackson, Rebecca Archdale, Robert Archdale, and Heavenlee Hall; and nephew, Brayden Jackson.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 11 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the King Memorial Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
