Jason John Morales of Wolf Point, MT went to be with the Lord on October 24 th 2015 at North East Montana Health Services, Wolf Point, MT.
Jason was born in Washington State on April 19 th 1974 to Seraphine Juan (John Sr.) and Arden Rae Morales.
Jason was raised on the 4/J ranch in Chelsea Montana. He grew up ranching and started helping his father John Sr. haul hay when he was three yrs. old.
Jason was the youngest of seven children. He attended schools in Poplar, Billings and Wolf Point Montana. During his high school years Jason played football and was a member of the Billings Boxing Association (B.A.B.A.)
Jason had a son, Jason Corne who was his pride and joy. Being separated from his son fifteen years ago took a toll on Jason and he wasn’t ever the same again. He was proud when his son’s team (Helena Capital High School) won the AA state basketball championship, and is attending the University of Montana.
Jason was a big guy with a heart as big as himself. He helped raise two of his nephews Brett and the late Paul Morales. As well as being a father figure to all his other nieces and nephews. To also include his special adopted daughters Caitlyn, Natalia and Kelsey Velazquez.
Jason worked many jobs including custom combining, Asst. manager at Walmart Miles City, MT, Hab Aide and Respit Provider High line home health for his niece Rebecca Morales, as a farm hand for Butch Andresen of Andresen Farms and Dunn O’Conner of Badger Creek Ranch.
Jason was known for his mechanical skills. He was always helping family and friends with vehicle repairs and advice. He learned vehicle mechanics from his Father and brother Rick. Jason had a passion for Wild Horse Racing. He competed in several Wild Horse Races around the country with his Brother John Jr. Including Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede where the team placed 1 st in 2003. The Highlight of Jason’s Wild Horse Racing career was when they placed 1 st three nights in a row at Cheyenne River Rodeo Sioux Tribes Fair Days.
Jason enjoyed hanging out with his nephews and buddies, fishing, working on cars, listening to all types of music, country was his favorite. He loved having backyard bonfires. People were drawn to Jason, his laid back attitude and his crazy sense of humor. Many loved listening to his stories especially the ones about his days as a bouncer and being at his home jokingly referred to as “the mansion”.
Jason loved his family, he was always there during emergencies to lend a helping hand. He loved all of his nieces and nephews very much including the adopted ones. He was always known as everyone’s favorite Uncle Jay.
Jason was known to many as Big Jay but to his Mother he was and always will be her Baby.
Jay you will be missed by all, forever in our hearts, your Big Morales Family.
Jason is survived by his son Jason Corne. His mother Arden Morales of Wolf Point, MT. His Brother John Morales, Sister Sarah Morales of Poplar, MT. Sisters Diane Morales, Becky (Michael) Failing, Sherri Morales of Wolf Point, MT. Brother Rick Morales of Chelsea Montana. His nieces Arden (Cole) Anderson of Glyndon, MN. Norma Reum, Julianne Gillies, Rebecca Morales of Wolf Point, MT. Lauren Thomas of Poplar, MT. Allison Greybull of Las Vegas, NV. His nephews Conrad Young, Brandon Young, Cruise Montclair, Tiger Morales of Poplar, MT. Enrique Morales, Rick Morales Jr., Brett Morales, Samuel Reum, Clay Reum, Abe Morales, James Morales, Zach Morales of Wolf Point, MT. Nick Greybull of Las Vegas, NV.
He is proceeded in death by his Father Seraphine Morales. Nephew Paul Morales. Maternal grandparents Norma (Bear) and Job WhiteCalf. Paternal grandparents Carmen and Gonsolo Morales. Numerous other relatives.
