Our loving Jazlyn Jade GreyBear, age 15, was called home on July 9, 2023. Jaz was born on August 5, 2007 to D’Anna GreyBear and Johnny Baker. Jaz was also the proud sister to Ethan GreyBear. Her 3 cousins, Michael Dean, Dylan GreyBear, and Kirkwood Magnan, whom she called her brothers and sister as well. Jaz loved all her nieces and nephews and called them her babies.
Jaz was going to be a junior at Poplar High School. She had many friends all throughout her young life. Her very best friend, Tori Dimas was who she spent every day with until her last. They loved to cruise around, listen to music and find every back road they could take.
Jaz had just completed Drivers Ed and was very excited to get her drivers license. Jaz was also very excited for her “Sweet 16”.
When Jaz was a little girl, she was Bryans poster baby for a few years. She was a joyous girl and made everyone she was around smile and laugh. She cracked jokes at any given moment, even in serious moments. She was a bright spirited girl and was always down to do whatever, as long as she had her best friend by her side. She was always driving around with her Grandma Judy GreyBear.
Jazlyn is survived by her mother, D’Anna GreyBear; father, Johnny Baker; brother, Ethan GreyBear; grandmother, Judy GreyBear; aunties, Lori Jo, Krissandra Kelly Ann Cerise GreyBear, Janet Mudgett, and Charlene Drum, all of Poplar; grandmother, Germaine Brady, of Newtown, ND; uncle and aunt, Bentley and Mellissa GreyBear of Devil’s Lake, ND.
