Our heavenly father called our precious Johnnie Girl home on October 26, 2020 in Billings, Montana and took her to heaven, where she would no longer be sick or hurting. Johnnie Girl was 2 years old.
Johnnie Girl Marie Magnan, our beloved little angel was born on June 17, 2018 in Wolf Point, Montana. She was born to Laney Boadle and Devin Magnan both of Poplar, Montana.
Johnnie Girl spent most of her short life at the Denver Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado and Helena, Montana until her passing.
Her daddy gave Johnnie Girl her name after his grandma Janice. Johnnie Girl is his grandmas birth name and after his late best friend, Johnny LaSarte. Her middle name, Marie, is also after his grandma Janice.
A few of her family members got to meet her when she was born. Her birth touched all of her families lives and she was thought of and prayed for all the time. When her parents got their first photo of her, we showed her Oma Janice and she said she looks like her papa Justin (GrayHawk Sr.) when he was a baby.
Johnnie Girl is survived by her parents Laney Boadle and Devin Magnan and her siblings Bam Bam (Ambrose), Mia, Layne, and Leighton, all of Poplar; her first cousin/brother Alexander Beston of Poplar; and first cousin Kaleigha Denny of Billings, Montana; her grandparents Loren Boadle of Poplar, Montana; Lewis Magnan of Poplar, Montana, Almyra GrayHawk (Richard Melbourne) of Poplar, Montana, Vearlene Denny (Allen Buckles) of Poplar, Montana; her great-grandparents Russell Denny Sr. of Poplar, Montana, Janice Hamilton of Poplar, Montana, and Mary Lou Azure of Poplar, Montana; her uncles Lewis Magnan III, Bailey Bay, and Logan Boadle, all of Poplar, Montana, and Jason Magnan of Wolf Point, Montana; her aunts Tonya Denny of Poplar, Montana, Emily Maxwell of Texas, Taylor Day, Jordan Day, Mandi Magnan, all of Poplar, Montana, Myla Magnan of Billings, Montana, Vangie RunThrough (Johnathen) of Frazer, Montana, Labrea Boadle (Brandon Merculief), Liberty Boadle, all of Poplar, Montana; great-great-grandma Doris Spotted Bird of Brockton, Montana.

Our beautiful Angel was preceded in death by her great-papa Louie; great-papa Fredrick LeMay; great-grandma Keva Ramsey; great-grandma Carol Spotted Bird; Catherine Spotted Bird; great-grandma and grandpa Violet and Ben Gray Hawk; uncle DK Buckelk; Wallis Schaffer; and first cousin/sister Jessanie Magnan.
A prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Poplar Cultural Center. A funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements and condolences for the family can be left by using the form below.
