Justin Asle Alvstad, “Mniha Wincha” (Strong Man), age 33, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
Justin was born on September 12, 1978, the son of Gary and Ann (RedDog) Alvstad. He graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1996. He worked for Nick Hagadone’s lawn care service and did construction work with J&J Construction. He enjoyed A.A.U. wrestling, fishing, camping, hunting, playing video games, working and helping out his friends when they needed it. He spent all his life in Wolf Point with the exception of a brief time spent in Billings, MT.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Alvstad-Saindon of Wolf Point; brother, Jason Alvstad of Williston, ND; twin brother, Jared Alvstad of Wolf Point; daughters, Kaelyn (Alvstad) Flynn, Callie (Alvstad) Flynn, and Aubrey Alvstad all of Oswego, MT; half brother, Brian Alvstad of Williston; and half sister, Wendy Alvstad-Schwartz of Fargo, ND; and the love of his life and mother of his children, Jonas Flynn.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Gary Alvstad; paternal grandparents, Gordan and Liz Alvstad; maternal grandparents, Ervin and Bessie RedDog; uncle, Leil RedDog; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A wake with evening service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at the Wolf Point Community Hall. His funeral service will be at 1 P.M Wednesday, April 11 at the Silver Wolf Casino. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery, Wolf Point, MT.
