Kimberly Carol Greybull, age 39, passed away on Sunday August 3, 2008, at the NEMHS Nursing Home in Poplar, after a short illness. She was born in Poplar, on March 6, 1969 to Melvin “Shaw” Greybull and Diane Longee.
Kim graduated from Poplar High School in 1987, and then went on to attend the Trapper Creek Job Corps in Darby, MT, studying Business Administration and graduating from there in 1989.
She was employed with the Ft. Peck Headstart program in Poplar for about 10 years, as a teacher’s aide. The children that she worked with were the topic of conversation many times. She also spoke highly of her co-workers and the many people of whom she called friends.
Kimberly loved to travel when she could. After all her travels, she returned to Poplar, where she grew up and called home.
She enjoyed watching her daughter, nieces, and nephews play basketball for the Poplar Indians. Kimberly was one of their biggest fans. She also enjoyed making friends wherever she went, and that was her specialty.
Kim is survived by the father of her children, Rick Morales, Sr.; her children, Rick Jr., Paul, Brett, Alison, and Nicolas; brothers, Everett, Jr. , and Anthony Browning both of Great Falls, Brian Greybull of Agency Village, SD, and Melvin Jr., of Williston, ND; sisters Sheila of Poplar, Johna of Glasgow, and Monica and Lindsay both of Williston, ND; Special nieces, Marissa, Mandee, Mallory, Alexandria, Brianna, and Antonette “Beanzy”; special nephews, Derrick, Ryan, Carlon, Earlwin “Beaver” and Justin, Jr., and special grandson, Tanner Jay.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Prayer Services will be Friday August 8, 2008 at 7:00pm at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at Poplar City Cemetery.
