Larry J. Pawlowski, age 75, of Billings, Montana and formerly of Circle, MT passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at home in Billings after a battle with cancer.
Larry was born in Circle MT on March 24, 1934 to Leonard Pawlowski and Lydia (Bartels) Pawlowski and raised by Irene (Reinemer) Pawlowski. He attended school through the 8th grade until work came calling at the age of 15 herding sheep. Larry was married to Edith S. Kasten on October 20 1956.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Dorinda (Mike) Wilhelm of Bozeman MT, Angela Bergeson of Miles City MT, Tamara Wynne of Lewistown MT, Lana Garpestad of Great Falls MT, Darla (Brent) Kluth of Vida MT and Gina (Mark) Hove of Circle MT; sons Terry (Brenda) Pawlowski of Las Vegas NV and Jerry (Courtney) Pawlowski of Billings MT; brothers Wilmer (Nora) Pawlowski, Wayne (Darlene) Pawlowski and Wendell (Mary) Pawlowski all of Circle MT; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and a special friend, Loretta Jonas of Billings, MT.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Lydia Pawlowski and step-mother Irene Pawlowski, a brother Howard Pawlowski and grandchildren Kelsi Wynne and Brandon Kluth.
Larry enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing cards and having a good time with family and friends. There was no greater joy than his music; Larry started playing music at a very young age. He would play and sing, with any body at any place at any time. So play a tune, sing a song and have a drink on him……
A Viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2010 followed by a Family Service at 6p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Circle, MT. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church in Circle followed by interment in Riverview Cemetery in Circle.
