On the morning of May 16, 2013, Larry Dean Leddige passed away at approximately 10 a.m. at his residence in Wolf Point, MT. He was 53 years old and heart failure was the cause of death.
Larry was born on November 7, 1959 in the town of Roseau, MN to Dean and Joanne (Lavoy) Leddige. He was the first of five children.
Larry graduated from Wolf Point High School on May 21, 1979 and had won the State A Wrestling trophy in the heavyweight division earlier that year. After graduating, Larry was employed as a seismographer in Colorado, around the Fort Collins area. He then was employed by the City of Wolf Point as a landfill operator for approximately 28 years.
His activities included hunting birds with his Labrador retriever named Duke, fishing with friends, throwing darts on and internet and regular league teams, playing golf, throwing horseshoes, and going camping.
Larry married Judy Ohs Deady on July 12, 2008 and made their residence in Wolf Point.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Joanne (Lavoy); and an uncle, Jeff Lavoy.
Larry is survived by his wife, Judy; stepchildren, Heather and Cory Deady; brother, Gary Leddige of Helena, MT; sisters, Nina Hickey of Washington, D.C., Susan Davis, and Jackie Guldborg of Wolf Point; uncle, Jim Bonette of Milan, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.
