Lee Ann Tank of Wolf Point left her earthly body on April 25, 2021 at Trinity Hospital with her loving family at her side.
Lee Ann was born on January 12, 1956 in Havre, Montana to Ella Mae Heser (Stolen). She was adopted by Edmond Tank when she was 4 years old. After Edmond’s passing, she lived much of her school age years on the family farm, south of Wolf Point, with her mother Ella Mae, step father John Stolen, and her sisters.
She went to school in Wolf Point and graduated from WPHS in 1975. She went on to compassionately give to her work as a nursing aide and was grandfathered into the CNA program when it was first opened. She worked as a CNA at the Faith Lutheran Home and Trinity Hospital, both of Wolf Point. She was also a traveling CNA, (traveling mainly around the North Dakota area), a Home Health aide and did many other odd and end jobs over the years.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, counted cross stitching, watching tv, working on family history and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed animals, she especially loved cats.
A tremendous thank you to all at Trinity Hospital who cared for her during her long stay and the care she received at her home, and especially to her cousin Helen Toews for her generous loving and caring support for Lee Ann.
She is survived by her step sisters, Torri Tanzini and family of Endicott, New York, and Jerra (Wayne) Fjelstad and family of Snohomish, Washington; brother-in-law, Tom Philp and family of Winifred, Montana; half-brothers, Mark (Mary) Martin of Sidney, Montana, Patrick (Doreen) Martin of Florida; adopted sister, Robin (Harry) Spangler of Spokane, Wahington; adopted brother, Bruce Tank of Kennewick, Washington; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceeded in death by her mother Ella Mae (Heser) Stolen; step-father, John Stolen; grandparents, Frank and Faye Heser; grandmother, Martha Stolen; and very recently her sister, Lorna (Stolen) Philp.
A luncheon will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Community Bible Church, 434 Indian St., Wolf Point, Montana. A grave side service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in McCone County, 10 miles east of Vida on Highway 201.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent in c/o Helen Toews 6218 road 1071, Wolf Point, Montana 59201, for help with service and burial expenses.
