Lena Elaine Siljenberg our wonderful and beloved mother passed away on April 2, 2016 in Kansas City, MO. Lena will always be remembered for her warm nature and incredible sense of humor. We will miss her always and strive to honor her memory by passing on the knowledge she bestowed upon us.
Lena Elaine Siljenberg was born on June 3,1961 in Wolf Point, Montana to Violet Hamilton and Rayfield Garfield. She attended school in Wolf Point and would later finish a degree in Human Services from the Fort Community College. Lena’s accomplishments were many, she was most proud of the fact that she was the mother of 4 beautiful daughters and a strong and intelligent son. Lena loved spending time with her family and brought joy, laughter, and friendship with her where ever she went.
For Lena family came first, especially when it came to her grandchildren the lights of her life. Her thoughts were always with them and her love for them will never cease. Lena enjoyed the small things in life; an afternoon spent with friends, a good mystery book, the way her oldest granddaughter Laurens hair curled, and the fact that she was able to be with all of her children one last time.
Lena is survived by daughters, Dayle (Jerry) Garfield, Kelli Jo (Frank) Siljenberg, Violet (Milo) Siljenberg, Dusti (Alfredo) Siljenberg and her son Lewis Siljenberg, grandchildren, Lauren, Jesse, Myalya, Kadence, Kingston, Angelina, Thalia, Alejandra and Camila.
