Leonard “Sonny” Thomas Martin Old Rock, Jr., age 52, of Poplar, MT went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Leonard was born March 9, 1965 in Poplar, MT to proud parents, Victoria (Tomahawk) Martin and Leonard Martin Old Rock, Sr.
Sonny attended Brockton Schools and graduated in 1983, he also attended college in Glendive, MT and Minot, ND. Sonny was a proud father and he adored his children, Tahnee Skye, Jordan Michael, Summer Skye, Winter Rose, Erin Elizabeth, Tia Marie, and John Arnold. He especially cherished his two grandchildren, Stacey Star and Mickey.
Sonny loved to be with his family and friends. He worked various jobs throughout his life. Sonny enjoyed working on his vehicle, fixing a new project, watching game shows, listening to music, and he especially enjoyed attending is nephew Tyson’s basketball games. The Brockton Warrior head was created by Sonny in the 1980’s and the Brockton High School honored him in the yearbook for it. The family asks for you to wear the Brockton Warrior Logo to honor his legacy.

A wake will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14 th at the Poplar Cultural Center. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15 th also at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Fort Kipp Cemetery in Fort Kipp, MT.
