Lucille Boling Isle, age 84, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point.
Lucille was born in Hancock County Kentucky on March 3, 1927 to Birdie Powers and Ivy Boling. She was the youngest of nine children. At the age of eight her mother passed away. Her father cared for her until he was unable. Lucille then lived with her older siblings until she was old enough to return home to keep house and care for her father.
Lucille married Henry Isle in 1953 and they moved to Montana after her father passed away. They were later divorced. Lucille made Wolf Point her home only visiting Kentucky twice.
Lucille worked at the Herald News, the Elks Club and was a nanny for the Dr. and Mrs. Listerud’s children when, they were out of town. She had a love for cats and cooking. Some of her best were sweet potato pie, oatmeal cake and of course cornbread and buttermilk.
Lucille is survived by many nieces and nephews most of whom still live in Kentucky, and several special friends in Wolf Point.
Her Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 14 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point with viewing one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point.
