Lyle R. Good, age 75, passed away on August 13, 2010 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point from cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Lyle was born to George and Alta (Bucholz) Good in Wolf Point, on May 5, 1935. Lyle grew up in the Sunnyside area and then was drafted into the Army. He served in Korea from 1958 to 1960. Lyle married Joyce LeMay, in Wolf Point on February 24, 1961. Lyle started his working career in the oil fields of Montana and Wyoming, and for Farmers Union Oil Company in Wolf Point before going into farming and ranching in McCone County in 1970, where he was a member of the Sunnyside Community. He retired in 2002. He was known as a hard worker and a good provider, and he devoted his life to farming and ranching. Whenever he could, Lyle liked to hunt and fish. He enjoyed salmon snagging and fishing for northern and walleye. He especially enjoyed boating, camping and fishing with his family at Fort Peck Lake.
Lyle will be remembered as happy-go-lucky. He always had a joke to tell, and always had time to stop and visit.
Lyle was a life time member of the Wolf Point Elks Club, the Moose Lodge of Williston, North Dakota, the Montana Farmers Union and Montana Weed Control Association.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alta Good, sister, Eldora Hoch, and brother, Melvin Good.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Joyce of Wolf Point, daughters, Michele Uhrich, of Great Falls, and Linda Good of Limon, CO., son Tim Good of Black Eagle, sister, Alice Doornek of Wolf Point and brother, Larry Good of Wolf Point, five grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point.
