Lyle Stolen was born at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, MT on June 28, 1962, to Edward and Carol (Peterson) Stolen and passed on November 21, 2019 at Trinity Hospital. He has been cremated and a service will be planned during the summer of 2020.
Lyle attended grammar school in Brockway, MT and graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1980. He and younger sister Connie loved horses; Lyle taught Connie to ride at a very young age. Lyle volunteered to drive with his older sister (Laurie) and nephew (Tri) for their move from MT to AZ in January 1989 and remained in Phoenix for three years before moving back to help his father on the farm. Moving to Lewistown, MT in 2006 and remained there before settling back in Wolf Point in May 2015. He lived in various locations in MT, WY and AZ.
Like his father and nephew, Lyle could walk into a room knowing no one and when he walked out people shouted, “Goodbye Lyle!” Lyle was funny, liked to joke; always had a cigarette close by; would do anything for anyone and loved living his life, his way.
