Lynn C. Laubach, 61, of Vida, Montana passed away on Monday, April 11th, 2011 from ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease at the McCone County Healthcare Center in Circle, Montana.
On March 19th, 1950 Lynn was born to Clarence J. and Marian R. (Marsh) Laubach. He grew up in Vida, Montana and was a farmer for 40 years. Lynn married his best friend and love of his life Susan (Martschinske) Laubach in 1971. They were blessed with two daughters, Brandi Lynn and Crissy Marie.
Lynn was a member of the Vida Community Church, a hunter’s safety instructor for 25 years, and a member of the Circle Rifle Club for 30 + years. Lynn was an avid hunter, loved riding snowmobiles and motorcycles, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with people.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Susan of Vida; his daughters, Brandi Lynn Laubach of Vida and Crissy Marie Laubach-Young (Jason) of St. Robert, Missouri; his mother, Marian R. Laubach of Vida; his sister, Rena’ K. Patterson of Berthoud, Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father, Clarence Laubach; brothers-in-law, Michael Patterson and Pat Powers; and various extended family.
Family services will be held 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 14 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 15 at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Burial will take place at the Vida Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Vida School. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Foundation.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
