Our beloved mother, Margaret Claire Martin, age 58, was called home on October 28, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1965 in Poplar, Montana to Betty Jo Ricker and Ronnie Martin.
She attended school in Portland, Oregon and Frazer, Montana. She married Darrin BadHawk, Sr in February of 1982 and from this union they had 5 daughters and 2 sons.
She loved to cook for her family and friends, which she learned from her mother-in-law, Delores. She was known for her frybread and cooking, but most of all, for her sense of humor.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, DeAnna; grandson, Kameron; and special friend, William Archdale.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, JoLynne Bad Hawk, Ellicia BadHawk, Marissa BadHawk, and Mariah BadHawk; sons, Darrin BadHawk, Jr, and Jacob BadHawk; grandchildren, Kyler BadHawk, Alex Kemp, Leighanna Kemp, Christian BadHawk, Elliyah BadHawk, Brian McConnell, Jr., Brandon, McConnell, Emylah McConnell, Brycen McConnell, Braxton McConnell, KayLeigh Bushman, KayLynn BadHawk, Paul Red Eagle, Jr., Maliyah BadHawk, Amya BadHawk, Dayson BadHawk, Ziya BadHawk, Zenaya BadHawk, Tien Sangrey, Talon BadHawk, Amari Ricker, Frank Johnson, Jr., Curtis Smoker, Jr., Jacob BadHawk, Jr., Everly BadHawk, Jaslynn BadHawk, Austin Pipe, Jr., Alfred Pipe, Anthony Pipe, and Alice BadHawk; sisters, Ronni Natal and Stacey Campbell; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, extended family and friends.
She was loved by all that knew her, we apologize if we left anyone out.
A wake will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point, Montana. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point, Montana. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery.
