Margaret Michelle Radue

November 27, 1996 — October 21, 2022

Our beautiful beloved, Margaret “Maggie” Michelle Radue-Olson joined her mother in the afterlife on October 20th, 2022. She was living in Moorehead, Minnesota at the time of her death.

Maggie was born in Wolf Point, Montana on November 27th, 1996 to Michelle Radue and Irvin Olson Sr. She is the youngest of her siblings, Raymond, Heather, Victoria, Cameo, Wayne, Erica and Merciline. Maggie grew up in Poplar, Montana and attended the Poplar School district. She was a kind, carefree and loving soul. Anyone who had the privilege of meeting her would tell you that she really was a sweetheart and that she loved to laugh and goof off with her family and friends. Since she was the youngest of her siblings, we always referred to her as our “big baby”. She was always at her mother’s side, whether they were going shopping, going to powwows, family events or even just staying home to snack and watch movies together. Maggie had a memorable smile and laugh, the kind that sticks with you forever. Over the course of her life, she made many friends and loved them all dearly. One of her biggest joys in life was being an auntie to her nieces and nephews, Dominique, Skylar, Cash, Jaylen, Tristan, and Little Raymond. We will miss our “big baby”. She will remain in our hearts until we meet again.

Maggie is survived by her son, Rileigh Youpee; her father, Irvin Olson Sr.; her six older siblings; her nieces and nephews; her grandmothers, Margaret Hapa, Yvette Todd, Isabelle and Eloise Youngman, Donna Black Dog, Cindy Radue, Anne Lester; her aunts, Evadna Red Boy, Raquel Whitehawk(Wes), Jonelle(Todd) White, Julia Young, Kalynn Chopper, her uncles, Justin Douglas, Faron(Debbie) Hapa, Arlin Hapa, Robert and Keith Olson, Lester Menz Sr. and Curtis Allen Menz;  her cousins who were like siblings, Leslie and Lester Menz Jr., Josh and Brian Eagle, Jason Radue, Kensey Keil, Evie Atkinson (Kolt), Marika Youpee, James Garcia, Austin Devon and Reese Red Boy; also Colton Darnell, who was like a son to her; her many cousins who had a special place in her heart, as well as her friends who were like family to her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Michelle “Shelly” Radue, her aunt Sheila Radue; her grandparents, Leroy Douglas, Victoria Mae Youngman, Frank Hapa Sr., and Raquel Menz; uncles Christopher Douglas, Frank Hapa Jr and Michael Hapa Sr., Kenneth Olson Sr., Levi Olson; her cousins, Colt Burshia, Tyson Olson, Kyle Olson, Charlynn Carpentier, Gerald Young; and her niece Brooklynn Young.

We’re sorry if we left people out, that was not our intention. We have a large family and too many relatives to mention.
