Marjorie Fern Bach

Marjorie Fern Bach, age 89, of Wolf Point, Montana passed away at her residence on May 23, 2008.

Marjorie was born on July 26, 1918 in Rural Wolf Point, to Ernest and Elsie Zimmerman. She was one of seven children. She grew up and attended school in rural Wolf Point and later received her Teacher’s Certificate at Northern Montana College at Havre. She taught school in at Scobey and at Hammar School. She especially enjoyed the time spent with the students.

Marjorie met Edward Joseph Bach and they married on May 29, 1941. They made their home at the farm north of Wolf Point and in 1974 they moved to Wolf Point and raised four children. They were married 36 years when Edward passed away.

Marjorie was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family: children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Edward and Elsie; sisters, Laverne Fjelde and Doris Sullivan; grandchildren, Kendall Berreth and Wayne Gorrell and great-grandson, Joseph Bach.
She is survived by her children: sons Lee (Geri) of Wolf Point and Dean (Dixie) of Wrentham, Alberta, daughters Georgia (Warren) Willoughby of Vida, Montana, and Virginia Gorrell of Cheyenne, Wyoming; grandchildren Edward Bach of Wolf Point, John Bach of Bozeman, Montana, Kourteney Bach of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Doemonica (David) Fedoruk of Tabor, Alberta, Ron (Robin) Berreth of Great Falls, Montana, Brian Berreth of Wolf Point, Allen (Janell) Gorrell of Douglas, Wyoming, Robert (Beth) Gorrell of Denver, Colorado and Becky (Ken) Devos of Missoula, MT and Connie (Keith) Edmonds of Cheyenne, WY; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Bernice Zimmerman of Wolf Point, Virginia Coulson of Mexico, Russell (Shirley) Zimmerman and Richard (Violet) Zimmerman, both of Wolf Point.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point. Funeral Services will be 11 am on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
