Marvin Frost, age 69, of Glendive, MT passed away February 23, 2011 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Marvin, the son of David Frost and Ella Enzi, was born December 28, 1941 in Billings. As a child he worked in the summer on a farm in North Dakota. He attended school in Miles City and he joined the Army at age 17. He worked many jobs in many places over the years including, Ford motor service in St. Louis, MO, fixed air conditioner units for Minute man missile, and worked on a pig farm raising pigs.
He loved to read his Bible, witness to people, read history and visit with family and friends. He also taught Sunday school.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Frost of Poplar; sons, Marvin of Ohio, Chris and Mike Frost Edwards of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Denise Nelson of Greenwood, SC; sister, Jackie Mohs of Sidney, MT; brother, David Frost of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grand child; and one step daughter, Patricia Gewin of MT; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father, two sisters, brother, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 28 at the First Baptist Church in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Homestead Cemetery in Homestead, Montana.
