May Dumont, age 77, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
She was born May 1, 1933 at Riverside Community, a few miles from Brockton, MT, to Frederick and Louise (Roberts) White Hawk. She attended schools in Brockton and Wolf Point.
May worked at various jobs in Wolf Point until she was disabled with a knee injury. In 1984 May gave her life to the Lord and enjoyed attending camp meetings and church revivals. She was a member of the Overcomers Church/Lord’s Table. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved very much. May enjoyed having company to visit with. She had a kind, generous heart, a good sense of humor, always laughing and always smiling.
May is survived by her children, Loren (Kathie) Forrest, Lora Forrest Stone, Lionel Weeks all of Wolf Point, Lisa Brown of Sidney, MT, Nathan Dumont Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, and Ramona Vivier of Sidney; grandchildren, Theresa Forrest, Curtis Forrest, Jordan Forrest, Shai-lee Weeks, Alisha Corpron, Ashley Corpron, Alanna Corpron, Aaron Corpron, Aricka Millard, Austin Millard, Kelly Dumont, Travis Dumont, Dylan Vivier and Breeana Vivier; great-grandchildren, Kobe Silk, Katriel Forrest, Trenton Hamilton, John Smoker Jr., Jamie Corpron, Joli Beston and Sean Forrest; a sister, Elaine Cantrell of Wolf Point.
May was preceded in death by a daughter, Louise Bokas, two sisters, Vina Shields Roberts, Lillian White Hawk, brothers, Charles Shields, Joseph Shields, Vernon Shields and Nelson Shields.
An Evening Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27 and Her Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 all Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery, Wolf Point.
