Mitchell Todd

February 23, 1957 — August 2, 2015

Mitchell Curtis Todd, 58 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2015. We take comfort knowing that he is walking in Heaven with his loved ones.

Mitchell was born in Los Angeles, California on February 23, 1957 to Benny Todd, Sr. and Ruth (McConnell) Todd.

Despite being in an accident at the age of 14 that left him paralyzed, he finished his education and graduated Valedictorian from Frazer High School in 1976. For physical therapy Mitchell enjoyed painting ceramics and various other objects that people would bring him. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. His favorite football team was the Seattle Seahawks. He still kept up with the Frazer Bearcubs and made it to the tournaments when he could. He was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church.

He loved family get togethers, especially at Christmas and his mom’s 4 th of July birthdays.

He married Geri Keiser on October 27, 1990. To that union he had four step-children.

He is survived by his wife Geri of Wolf Point, MT, step-children Ron (Darcy) Keiser, Sophie Keiser (Boe) all of Wolf Point, Justin Keiser of Deer Lodge, MT which he raised as his own; mother Ruth Todd of Frazer, MT; brother Benny (Karen) Todd, Jr. of Wolf Point; sisters Julie (Marlin) Namyniuk of Hebron, ND, Lisa (Floyd) Ackerman of Frazer, MT; uncle Richard (Teddy) McConnell of Billings, MT; grandchildren Melvin, Oceanna, Tyler and Taja Lilley, Matthew, Kirsten, Trinity and Gabriel Keiser, Hailey Menz, Tinisha, Mariah, Jesse, Stephanie, Alexis, Bobbi and Kelly Baker, Amaire Lambert and Ray Jay all of Wolf Point and Harmony Ackerman of Texas, Keein, Azalei, Lydel, and Dēj Ackerman, Reese DeCoteau, and Payton Williams; great-grandchildren Stephanie, Justyne, Brandalyn, Thomas Jr. and Makel Martell, Tammy and Jerome Follett, Jr. and Daveau Lilley all of Wolf Point; niece Lovell Ackerman of Bismarck, ND; nephews Landyn, Tyler and Floyd Ackerman of Frazer, MT and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father Benny Todd, Sr.; paternal grandparents Orville and Lucy Todd; maternal grandparents James Sr. and Fannie McConnell; uncles James McConnell, Jr., Joe McConnell and Elliott Todd; aunts Myrtice Redstone, Lena Wright, Rosella Murdock and Florence Buck; step-daughter Tammy Keiser, grandson Brandon Keiser and granddaughter Whitney Adams; cousins Skee Redstone, Norman Redstone, Albert Murdock, Kurt Murdock; nieces Ariel Ackerman, Angie Redstone, Tracey Redstone and Sondra Wright.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, 102 Custer Street in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, 102 Custer Street in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Oswego Catholic Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be left at www.claytonstevensonchapel.com . Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point has been entrusted with arrangements.
