Once while stated on the aircraft carrier. Fr. Shannon asked for an altar server at Sunday Mass. Moses volunteered and remembered all the Latin he was taught from Fr. Shevlin. He continued to serve with the priest while he was onboard. Moses was very proud of his service record.
While serving in the Navy, he met his wife Beverly and they had two children. He spent twelve years in the Navy and after his divorce returned to Wolf Point. He renewed an old friendship with Robert Millard. Together they selflessly volunteering at the local foodbank, unloading and distributing food to the needy.
