Myra Leigh Bullchief-Weston, 43, went to be with the Lord on the 10 th of September 2022 in Billings, MT. Myra Leigh was born on January 27, 1979 to Rose Mary and Marvin Bullchief, SR. at St. Vincent’s in Billings, MT.
Myra grew up in Frazer, MT where she attended head start and elementary school with her many friends and cousins. The family moved to Wolf Point, MT where she attended elementary, junior and high school. She graduated from Wolf Point High School in May of 1998. During her high school years, she helped raise Heather Rose, her first baby girl. She was dedicated back to the Lord before the age of one, by Pastor Abel Sr. and Donna Follet.
Myra worked at McDonald’s, then went to CNA training, she was so happy and proud of herself when she received her CNA certificate. She worked at Faith Lutheran Home, where she worked until her mother got sick. Myra helped take care of her until her passing in 2004.
In 2003 Myra met Brian Weston, Sr. from this union they had 4 boys, Dylan Morgan, Brent Lee, Brian Harry, Jr., and Xander Jaymez. She also helped him raise 3 older kids, Taylor, Tay-Lee and Briann. In June of 2019 she finally married the love of her life, her best friend, her soulmate, Brian Sr. They made the most out of life together with their family, their boys and girls. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a big heart and helped take care of her sisters and brothers’ kids and her grandchildren.
Myra had a lot of special nieces, nephews and grandkids in her life that she helped raise and took care of, Heather Rose, Twyla Darnell, Ashley Ruth, Renae, Kylie Hope, Jason, Trevor, Valen, Quintin Galen, Lil Puff, Farren, and Alex Dale. Although she loved all her grandchildren, Lil Miss Athena Mae and Nova lee held a special spot in her heart.
Myroo was always walking around, always had her big cup of ice or a slushie. She was someone who was there for everyone, she could make you feel better when you were feeling down, and just needed to vent. She was always playing music and cleaning, or just watching movies. She was always collecting things, pennies, pens, lil toys, knick knacks. She made you feel at home when you would visit. She was the best mother, wife, aunt, grandma, friend a person could have.
She had so many people in her life she was close to. Many sisters and brothers she grew up with. Sheryle Dawn, Missy, Bonnie, Tara Lee, Skinny, Eva, Andrea (Nu Nu), Wendy, Nikki and brother Antz (Anthony Archdale).
Myra is survived by her kids, Dylan, Brent, Brian Jr., Xander, Tay-Lee, Taylor and Briann, and her husband Brian Weston, Sr., her sisters Melanie Saulteaux of Wolf Point, Taryn (Harlan) Jackson of Frazer, Emoree Gray of Billings, and brother Rory Hotomani of Missoula, her aunts Millie Hotomani of Carry the Kettle First Nations Reserve in Canada, Meryle Montclair of Wolf Point, Wilberta Toavs of Frazer, Mary Sue Jackson of Frazer, Julie Christian, Annette Linder and Barbara Birdsbill of Wolf Point, nieces, Andrea, Meronica, and Nakiya Jackson, Valynn, and Laryn Jackson, and LaTeshia Hotomani; nephew Timothy Hotomani, and her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin Bull Chief, Sr. and Rose Mary Hotomani Bull Chief, grandparents Herbert and Nellie Bull Chief, Mike Ryder and Ruth Hotomani, aunts Nellie Silk, Bernice Saulteaux, and Frances Jackson, uncles Reginald Hotomani, Michael Hotomani, Garry Hotomani and Peter Follows the Road, sisters Shirlene Bull Chief, Twyla Bull Chief and Marva Bull Chief who left us recently on September 20, 2022, brothers Marvin Bull Chief, Jr., Larron Hotomani, Valen Hotomani, Corwin Fourstar, Lyle Miller, Kipp Stiffarm, and Lil bro Stevie Douglas, cousins Marla Jackson, Miles Jackson, Jordie Jackson, Stonewall (Stony) Jackson, Carlene Jackson, Jesse Montclair, and Laurel Geddess, her nephews Deland RedBoy, Sr., Bradley Bull Chief, and niece Kyleen Bull Chief.
The family asks forgiveness for anyone we left out, it was not intentional. Myra loved you all and just know we were all special to her and she is now watching over us from above. She had a very large family.
And a special thank you to brother Ernesto Hernandez for taking Brian and the boys to Billings to be with her in her last moments. We are very thankful and appreciative of you.
