Our loving “Myree”….now rest in peace. Myron Dale Broken Leg, age 41 of Brockton , MT left this world January 1, 2008.
Myree was born to Velma and George Broken Leg on June 2, 1966 at the Poplar Community Hospital. He graduated from Brockton High School in 1986 and loved to play Little League and basketball. Myree also was a fancy dancer. Myree was employed at A & S Industries and the Commodity warehouse in Poplar, MT and he was a fire fighter during the summer seasons.
Our Myree will be sadly missed for he was liked by all. He loved to laugh and joke around. He had a kind heart that touched the lives of his daughter, Ellyn, and his nephew, Dominic, whom he loved spending time with. Also dad, brothers and sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, aunties, uncles and many friends he made throughout his life here on earth.
Myree loved listening to music, watching movies, playing cards, rolling dice and hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed root digging.
Myree is survived by his daughter, Ellyn Leigh, of Fort Kipp, MT; dad, George Broken Leg of Hot Springs, S.D.; sisters, Darla (Curtis) Broken Leg and Debbie (Myron) Uses Arrow, both of Mobridge, S.D.; brother, Ivan Broken Leg of Brockton; foster brother, Eugene Longee of Poplar; his aunts, Audrey Ghost Dog of Billings, MT, Della (Mike) Thomas, Lydia Long Hair, Ceya Long Hair, all of Fort Kipp and Arletta Black Dog of Brockton; Grandmother, Loretta Bear Cub of Fort Kipp; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Myree is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Broken Leg; Grandparents, Moses and Bernice Broken Leg and Johnson and Ursula Long Hair; and baby nephew, William George Broken Leg.
A Family Service will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the James Black Dog Activity Center in Fort Kipp with the wake to follow. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at the James Black Dog Activity Center. Interment will follow at Fort Kipp Cemetery.
