In the late hours of August 6, 2017 Myron Taylor “Boo Boo” Weston, Can`te Tiza, “Brave Heart” passed away at Rapid City Regional Hospital with the circle of his family, losing his battle with renal failure. Boo Boo was 46 years old.
Myron Taylor was born February 3, 1971 at 3:00 p.m.; he was the second child and the second son of Vern and Rita Brown Weston.
Boo Boo spent his younger years in Wounded Knee, SD before returning to Montana to finish his elementary years and continued into high school years in Wolf Point. He graduated from Flandreau Indian School.
Myron held various jobs with the Fort Peck Tribes Enterprise department and with various private contractors in Wolf Point.
Myron enjoyed life to the fullest, he was very active with Boy Scouts while in school, Little League Baseball, Legion Baseball and basketball. High school in Flandreau was a new adventure in his life, he became active in sports: wrestling, in which he did very well; cross country, track and basketball also became special accomplishments.
Myron married Kimberly Desjarlais on leap year February 29, 2000. No children were born to this union, but Myron helped raise her sons, Nicholas and Tyler Desjarlais, which he thought of as his own. Kim died December 9, 2005. .
Myron remarried Andrea Cantrell, which he spent many years with until their divorce.
Preceding Myron in death are his wife, Kim Brown; his mother, Rita; brother, Brent Lee Weston; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Bessie (Comes Last) Brown; paternal grandparents, Harry and Madge (Stabber) Weston; adopted brothers, Lyle Miller and Corwin Four Star.
Myron is survived by his father, Vern (Lula) Weston Sr.; brothers Brian (Myra) Weston, Manuel (Tammy) Brown, Kipp (Tiff) Stiffarm, Anthony Archdale of Wolf Point, Michael Brown of Poplar, Vern Weston Jr., Mark Weston, and Anderson Weston; sisters Joanie Weston, Lonni Weston, and Sharon Weston of Pine Ridge, South Dakota; uncles Wayne Weston, Dwight (Sonya) Weston, Earnest (Dana) Weston; aunts Sylvia (Stanley) Hollowhorn, Sandra Weston, Edwina Weston, Dale Weston Youngman from Wounded Knee, Pine Ridge, South Dakota, Yvonne (Ernie) Flynn of Billings, Lois Weeks, Linda Weeks of Wolf Point and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews to numerous to list but Boo Boo loved you all.
Myron so enjoyed the company of his nieces and nephews Tay-lee, Briann, Taylor, Dylan, Brian Jr., Xander and his little “Bro”, Brent. They loved telling stories of their daily events and just reminiscing memories of Grandma Rita and Brent Lee, the “Good Ole Days”.
