Noreen Fourbear

June 18, 1962 — September 24, 2021

On September 24th, 2021 at the age of 59, Noreen Four Bear went to be with our creator. She was born on June 18th, 1962 to Virgil Four Bear and Eleanora (Comes Last) Four Bear in Poplar, MT. Noreen attended school in Poplar, Riverside in Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Kicking Horse Job Corp. Noreen was a country kid who grew up in the North Poplar area, and spent a lot of time at her grandparents Rena and Daniel Comes Last’s ranch, where they had many animals, such as horses, chickens, goats and more. She spent a lot of time riding horses. Her grandpa Dan nicknamed her ‘Wiya’, and gifted her with a paint horse that she named Jigs, and gifted her with a saddle. Noreen had a soft spot for horses, which was why throughout her years she was always ready to help her little brothers out the best she could. It was well known that the support that she had for her brothers and the horses was unfaltering. She was always full of questions about the herd and was quick to point out the ones that she liked. She’s a woman who loved adventures and nothing was ever too crazy for her. If anyone walked into her house, she always made sure that they left with a full belly and a side ache from laughing. She would not take no for an answer, and all who walked in would end up with a plate of food in front of them. She loved cooking and visiting with family and friends. She spent a good portion of her free time making arts and crafts, listening to music, playing cards, solving word puzzles, and talking on the phone. Her two sons and daughter were the loves of her life. Although our hearts are broken, we know that she is in a better place and is no longer suffering. She is now catching up with all the loved ones who left before her; she has so many stories to tell. Noreen is survived by her sons Marcel and Kyle Four Bear, her granddaughters Payton and Sophia, her grandsons Brady and Breyten, her sister Rena Williams and adopted sister Gay Pennington, her brothers Cornell Four Bear, Dale Four Bear, Son Four Bear and Dana Comes Last. Her nieces Darrian, Jacey, Dani, Leslie and Jess, her nephews Melichi (Shelby) Four Bear of New Town, North Dakota, Son Son and Deyo Four Bear, Erik and Alex, Rusty Boxer (and boys), her uncles Daniel (Spoon) and Leroy Comes Last; and adopted uncle Adrian Ireland of Williston, ND. She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Eleanora, her grandparents Daniel and Rena, her daughter Reanna Joy, her brothers Charles and Delvin, her sister Vernell, her nephew Joray, and her sister/cousin Violet Comes Last. Her extended families include First, White Eagle, Perry, Chopper, Black Dog, Comes Last, and Buck Elk. We have a large family, if we missed anyone in our time of grief, we sincerely apologize.
