Olivia Marie Longtree “Wasté Heḣaka Wiya” (Good Elk Woman), was called home in June 23, 2020.  She was born on June 30, 1975 to Robert Longtree and Sherry (TurningBear) Longtree in Poplar, MT.

She grew up in Poplar where she attended elementary, middle and graduated high school from.  Later she graduated from Flandreau Indian School in 1995.

Throughout life she made big impacts on the lives she touched, in return she made a lot of friends.  When she wasn’t watching her little brother, she loved to draw, hand with friends, listen to music and drive around.  She loved to jingle dress and hit the powwow trails.  She loved to make everyone laugh and smile.  She was kind, considerate, helpful, caring and giving.  Her sense of humor will be missed most of all.

Olivia is survived by her mother, Sherry Longtree; brother, Christopher Longtree; sister, Christina (Nick) Longtree; nephews Jeremy Reddog, Jr., Nashon Reddog, Nicholi Nelson; aunts Pauline Granbois, Tara Longtree, Margret Olson, Yvette Todd, Margret Hapa, Annie Lester, Arlene Jones, Julia Young, Janelle Menz, Rhonda Owens, Pauline Boxer, Valerie Longtree, Kay Longtree, Linda Lezard, Charmain Iron Bear, Cheryl Boyd, Myra Daniels, Beth Whitebull. Iris Greybull, Wilma Longee, Sissy Chopper, Shirly Jackson, Sharon Granbois, Diane Granbois; uncles, Dennis Longtree, Clarence Longtree, Jr., Edgar and Maynard Jones, Robert Olson. Sr., Kenny Olson, Sr., Dean Yellow Hawk, Loren Yellow hawk, Jr. Greybull, Harry Iron, Jr., Robert Daniels, Sr., Son Iron Bear and Tony Iron Bear.

She is preceded in death by her father Robert Longtree, Sr.; brother Robert Longtree, Jr.; maternal grandparents James Turning Bear and Louise Iron Bear, paternal grandparents Clarence Sr. and Alice (Lester) Longtree; aunts Barbara WarClub, Carol Menz, Rebecca LovesHim, Evadna Running Bear, Laverne LovesHim, Mary Savior and Maria Youngman; uncles Charles Crazy Bull, Stanly Longtree, Kevin Longtree, Clarice Longtree, Phillip Granbois, Norman Muskrat, Lonnie Iron Bear; grandmother Pearl Nation; cousins Clifford Granbois, Jeremy Chopper, Terrence Olson; niece Mahogany Iron Bear; nephew Carlyn Longtree.
