Phillip S. Miller, Sr., age 61 passed away on May 15, 2018 at NEMHS Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, MT.
Phillip was born to Willard and Betty (Jenkins) Miller on January 7, 1957 in Wolf Point, MT.
His educational background included attending Indian school in Busby, MT and Fort Peck Community College. He attended FPCC whenever he needed an answer to a question, and he had a lot of them. Phillip also worked with the Montana Highway system for many years until a back injury caused him to retire.
Phillip was a devout and long time member of the Blue Sky Ministries Church in Wolf Point, MT. In his downtime he enjoyed Bingo, playing the machines, and going to Pow-wows. He was an avid “pool shark”, and won many pool cues and jackets from this. Phillip faithfully supported the Wolf Point Basketball players, rarely missing a game and followed them on the road as well. He had many friends and didn’t seem to go anywhere without running into someone he knew.
Phillip is preceded in death by his mother Betty Jenkins; brothers Frank and Jerry Miller; sisters Grace and Marian Miller; favorite Auntie Rose Lilley; nephew Jace Whiteman and granddaughter Aamontyah Castro.
He is survived by his father Willard Miller; sisters Doris Miller of Wolf Point, Mary Miller of Lame Deer, and Beverly Walking Eagle of Poplar; brother Robert Miller of Auburn, WA; son Steven Miller and granddaughters Lulani and Aeron Miller.
