Phyllis (Babcock) Peters, 68, of Wolf Point, MT died late Monday, September 24 th , after playing cards with her Bridge club.
There were many other activities Phyllis took pleasure in, such as quilting, bowling, lay leadership at First Presbyterian Church, and running Harry’s Nite Club, but her greatest joy came from helping others. Born in Vanport, Oregon, she married Richard “Dickie” Peters in 1960.
She is survived by a daughter, The Rev. Brenda Sol of Dallas, TX; son, Steven Peters and his wife Joan of Wolf Point; along with two granddaughters, Savannah Peters of Vermillion, SD, and Jocelyn Peters of Billings, MT.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Steffy and Earl Babcock, Sr., and her brother, Earl Babcock, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at First Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 29 at 10am with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will follow at Harry’s Nite Club.
