Randy Jon Nordwick, age 58, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 at his residence in Wolf Point.
Randy was born February 7, 1953 in Anaconda, MT to Jim Nordwick and Donna (Robinson) Johnson. He attended school in Wolf Point. He met the love of his life, Nancy, when he was just 15 years old. They were married on June 9, 1973.
Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, minnow trapping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was employed at the Wolf Point Sand and Gravel.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Daniel Garfield; grandmother, Leona Nordwick; brother-in-laws, Douglas Garfield and Moose Lambert; and cousin, Kay Nelson.
Randy is survived by his wife, Nancy Nordwick of Wolf Point; daughters, Brandi (Rusty Yant) Nordwick of Wolf Point and Jami (Arlon Chapman) Nordwick of Trenton, ND; grandsons, Blake Chapman and Jalon Chapman both of Trenton; granddaughter, Evan Yant and Marti Grandchamp both of Wolf Point; mother, Donna Johnson of Riverton, WY; father, Jim (Faye) Nordwick of Shoshoni, WY; brothers, Brant (Judy) Nordwick of Shoshoni, Monty Nordiwck of Riverton, Donelle (Wanda) Nordwick of Thermapolis, WY, and Justin (Serene) Nordwick of Kinnear, WY; sister, Delsie Nordwick of Shoshoni; mother-in-law, Agnes Garfield of Wolf Point; and the entire Garfield family and all that loved him.
He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was the best grandpa, dad, husband, and father-in-law.
Visitation was held 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point and cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 16 at the Nordwick residence south of the Frontier School in Wolf Point.
