Raymond Duncan Dupree, Jr. age 66 of Poplar, Montana passed away Sunday, May 1 st , 2016 at home in Poplar.
Raymond “Son Son” Duncan Dupree was born to parents Raymond Dupree, Sr. and Beatrice Rosebud on November 21, 1949 in Poplar, MT.
He grew up in Poplar and attended school in Poplar and Flandreau. He went on and attended college at Dawson Community College in Glendive and MSU Northern in Havre. He graduated and achieved his Bachelors of Arts degree.
Raymond loved hunting, fishing, running and sports and spending time outdoors. He loved spending time with friends and family.
He met Gail Charboneau and to this union they had 5 daughters, Shyann Marie, Billie Ray, Raylene Rae, Rosebud Morning and Sammi Ray Dupree. They resided in Poplar and raised their children. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. The lights of his life were his grandchildren.
His humor and his smile will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Rosebud; parents Beatrice Rosebud and Raymond Dupree, Sr.; brothers Wendell Ray, Leonard Dupree, Earl Jones; sisters Danielle and Rita Menz; grandson Brady Lynn Dupree Smith.
He is survived by his companion Gail Charboneau; daughters Shyann (Allen) Buckles, Billie Ray Dupree, Raylene (Casey) Wetsit and Sammi (Reggins) Smith; sons Adam Grainger, Raymond Longee and Raymond Dupree; grandchildren Anthony Duncan, Alex and Erin Buckles, Paiton Dupree, Jaylin Feurherm, Ashtin and Araya Lamere, Casey, Cloud, Raine, Rayauna Wetsit, Rilley Renee, Rayden, Ryan, Shailynn Smith and one great-grandson Braydan Liam Smith; sisters Donna Follette, Laverne Dupree; brothers Harold and Calvin Dupree and all his friends and family.

A wake will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center in Poplar.
