Richard Wayne Martell, age 68 of Blaire, Montana, started his journey to be with the Lord on November 1, 2023.
Richard was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on July 17, 1955, he was the 6 th child of Violet and Max Martell. Richard resided in Blair, Montana where he raised and took care of all his animals. Richard was like a Jack-of-all-trades. Richard loved to go hunting, play pool, listening to music (especially Elvis Presley), going for rides in the country on his golfcart, he was adventurous, always telling jokes. He was a big kid at heart and loved spending time with all of his nieces and nephews, especially the two who he helped rase, Cheyenne and Dakota Comes Last. He taught them how to fish, hunt, fence, and so much more. Richard was a hardworking man.
Richard worked at Richland Yellowstone Manufacturing since 1989 until he retired in July, 2023.
Richard will be deeply missed. He may no longer be here in physical form, but spiritually he lives on through everyone he loved. Rest in Peace.
Richard is survived by his two furry companions or “babies”, Chewy and Cooper; his two brothers, Max Martell, Jr,. and John Martell, Sr.; his 5 sisters, Margorie Ivy, Kathy Martell-Roundface, Terri Lonebear, Vickie Martell, and Valerie Martell and many nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Violet and Max Martell; 3 sisters, Maxine Zimmerman, Marilyn and Mayda Martell; one brother, James Martell.
