Robert Todd Pinkerton Jr., 22, of Poplar, MT passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was born on December 21, 1993 to Roberta Not Afraid and Robert Pinkerton Sr.; he was the oldest of 8 children.
Robert graduated high school in 2005 and attended Fort Peck Community College receiving a certificate in carpentry. He loved spending time with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed playing Xbox games and hanging with his friends.
He is survived by his children, MiChante and Isaiah; father, Robert Pinkerton, Sr.; mother and stepdad, Roberta and Karl Eder; grandma, Monica Martell; grandparents, Reva and Marlin Not Afraid; great grandparents, Roberta and Floyd Martell Sr.; four brothers, Tyler, Christian, Michael, and Justin; three sisters, Julie, Debra, and Tamra; grandpa, Bob Pinkerton; grandmas, Sybil Erickson, Carmeleta Eagle Boy, and Dremus Eagle Boy; aunts and uncles, Becky, Linda, Kelly, Barbara, Kenny, Marlin “Deano”, Clint, Merval, Machiah, Bethany, Marriah, Donovan, Tonetta, Alfred Jr., Buddy, Jack, Chili, Ida, Cassandra, and Valynn; extended family, Garlin, Elizabeth, Paulette, Diane, Orvilla, and Barbara Not Afraid; and relations, Lamberts, Martells, War Clubs, Shields, Hendersons, Walking Eagles, and Weinbergers.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Headdress; grandma, Barbara Pinkerton; great grandpa, Starr Not Afraid; great grandparents, Sophia and Charles Martell Sr.; grandma, Emma Santos Henderson; aunt, Debra “Suzie” Pinkerton; uncle, Jack Martell; and cousin, Billy Jack Martell.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, February 5 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
