Richard Lee Steele age 49 went to be with the Creator on Dec 21, 2017 in Seattle Washington. Richard carried the name Wears Iron Necklace, he was born January 30, 1968 to Marlene Agnes Steele in Poplar, Montana.
Richard left home at the age of 16, he loved his hard rock music and hanging out with his native people. Richard was a free-spirited person who loved to travel around not staying in one place to long. He left his home in Montana, traveled to Colorado, down to California than up the coast to Seattle Washington where he resided for the last 15 years. Richard had friends from all over and he will be missed dearly.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment to follow at Poplar City Cemetery.
