Robert Elliot (Robo) Archdale, age 44, of Wolf Point, MT formerly of Frazer, MT went to be with the Lord on early Saturday morning January 16, 2016 at his home in Wolf Point. He was born on October 10, 1971 to Rosalyn Jackson and Ivan Archdale.
Robert attended school in Havre, Harlem, and Frazer, graduating in 1990. His highlight of high school was being an All-star kicker on the Frazer football team.
Robert worked as a bartender, and became disabled in 2000. Robert was trying to be a cowboy and broke his ankle. He had quite a collection of knives. Robert has a kind heart and liked to tease anyone he knew. He also loved to give nicknames to his friends and relatives.
Robert met Charlene Campbell in 2003 and they had two children, Ivan Elliot Archdale and Delbert Campbell Archdale, whom he was very proud and protective of.
Robert is survived by his wife, Charlene Campbell; son, Ivan Elliot Archdale; step-daughter, Grace Runs Through (Larry Hamilton Jr.) and grandson Elliot Daniel Ray Hamilton; brothers, Raymond Bear Hill and Robert Azure; sisters, Victoria (David) Adams and Olivia Four Star; grandmother, Mary Brockie Hayes; grandpa, Henry “Prince” Brockie; aunts, Mary Sue Jackson, Wilbert Toavs, Joan Blount, and Julia (Andrew) Farrar; adopted mother, Iris “Sissy” Anderson; and a very special cousin, Faye Hotomanie Blount. He also had many friends whom he took as brothers.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Archdale and Rosalyn Jackson; son, Delbert Campbell Archdale; sisters, Rebecca Archdale Low Dog and LuAnne Talks Different; grandparents, Edward and Evaline Archdale; grandpas, Wilbert Jackson and August H. Hayes; grandmother, Anne Helgeson; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. If we missed anyone it was not intentional.
A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, January 21 at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 22 at the Community Hall in Frazer. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
