Rochelle “Skee” LeAnn Redstone was born February 5, 1957, the 5th child of Myrtice (McConnell) and Justin (Chug) Redstone, in Wolf Point, Montana.
Skee went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2008 at Wolf Point Northeast Montana Health Services after battling cancer the past four years.
She grew up in Frazer, MT and graduated from Frazer High School in 1976. In high school Skee participated in basketball, cross country, and band. She then attended Dawson Community College in Glendive, MT. She went to work at Frazer School as an aide August 23, 1988. She worked with handicapped children, teaching them to walk, eat and survive in this world. Skee loved her job and loved working with her students (God’s little angels). During her working career at Frazer School, Skee attended NAES College in Poplar graduating in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Community Studies. Skee retired at the end of the school year in 2008 due to health reasons. She started working at Albertsons as a bagger in 2003. She loved this job as well because it allowed her to visit everybody.
Skee enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching her favorite tv shows, going to ball games (basketball & softball) and spending time with her family (kids and grandkids).
Skee was preceded in death by her mom and dad, grandparents (maternal and paternal), brother “Stormin” Norman, niece Angie, a baby sister, and a niece Tracy Redstone.
She is survived by son Jeremy (Melissa) Redstone of Wolf Point, MT, daughter Michael Redstone of Frazer, MT, sisters Dovaline Schauer of Wolf Point, Tammy (Rich) Frank of Las Vegas, NV, brothers Trex (Virginia)Redstone of Fort Peck, MT, Ray Van(Sandy)Redstone of Wolf Point, David(Yvette) Redstone of Wolf Point, nephews Scott Redstone of Glasgow, MT, Cory Frank of Las Vegas, NV, nieces Sheronne and Shayne of Las Vegas, NV, Nouel and Symone Schauer, Willow and Brook, Chloe, Jovi, Natilie Smoker; aunts Ruth Todd and Florence Buck of Frazer, Uncles Joe (Kim)McConnell of Wolf Point and Richard (Teddi)McConnell of Billings, MT; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and her best “Buds” Edie Horn Wagoner, and Pete Jackson.
A Prayer Service will be held at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 7 pm. A Funeral Service to be at Frazer High School Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10 am. Interment will be at King Cemetery, with the 4 day feast to follow at Frazer Community Hall. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com.
