Rose (Posie) was born in Poplar to George and Lois Ferguson on October 9, 1956. She lived all her life in Poplar. Posie was a very loving person who helped anybody in need. Posie lived a very simple life in her apartment at the Edgewater, where she had many friends who she loved dearly. Posie loved doing her word search puzzels and visiting with friends and family. Her most joy in life was caring for her niece Teri Lyn’s children, Allie, John, Jacey, and Jett. She loved them from their first breath to her last breath.
Auntie/Grandma Posie, You left us too soon, but you said you was ready. You spent 17 yrs with us, loving and caring for our kids! What a blessing you have been. JD said it best “Pose was with our family since we became a family” how right he was. Started watching Allie at 6 months old, and the family grew from there..John always asking you “how are you doing grandma Posie?” You always said “I’m good John.” Jett sitting in the chair with you, rubbing your elbow because he said “it was so soft and old.” You laughed every time! You and Jacey had the craziest conversation, you two could talk all day sharing stories and laughing at each other. You waiting for her to finish her makeup and see what outfit she would come up with that day. She was your crazy girl. You and Allie were a match made in heaven! There are no words to describe you and Allie’s relationship, other than perfect together. Thank you for sharing your kind generous ways with each of them! Thank you for the endless conversation you and I shared. We weathered every storm together, we made it through the tough times because we had each other! JD and I are so thankful and grateful for you and the care and love you gave our kids! Thank you for taking care of all the fur babies we have acquired over the years, they love you too. Thank you for being such a big part of our life! We love and miss you dearly! Teri, Allie, John, JaceyRae, Jett and JD….Love you Pose!
