Rosella Esther (Lentzner) Dick age 87 went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2012 at The Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point.
Psalm 103:1 “Bless my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”
Rosella Esther Dick was born September 22, 1924. She graduated fromGlasgowHigh School. She met her husband to be, Marvin Dick in high school or sometime there after. Marvin Dick farmed with his Dad, CK Dick, and they later moved to the Isaac Reddig place where they made a home. By the way, they got married September 28, 1945, and were married 40 years, before Marvin’s passing in October of 1985. Rosella found the Lord at an early age and was a faithful member of theLustreMennoniteBrethrenChurch. She was a great cook, her cookies and rolls were tremendously good. She always had devotions in the mornings before breakfast, to make the day start out right. She loved her family very much and always prayed for them. She was a very loving and caring person, and we’ll miss her. She loved gospel music and was amazed at the talent of a grandchild that played the fiddle. She liked to sing the songs of her youth, and liked it when the family played along.
Rosella and Marvin had three children together, Eugene, ofFrazer,MT; Jim and his wife Dayle of Bozeman, MT; Joy and her husband, Rob Rempel, ofAbbotsford,BC,Canada. She is survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Frieda Lentzner of Wolf Point, MT, and Lydia Dueck, ofDenver,CO.
Our remembrance is our mother was faithful in praying and teaching us the word of God. Her bible verse, John 14:27, “Peace I leave you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let if be afraid.”
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Lustre, MT. Interment will follow at the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in Lustre.
