Scott J. Swain, age 58, started his journey on November 26th 2024. Scott was born on December 8, 1965 in Wolf Point, MT to Robert J. Swain and Violet Brunelle Winsor.
Scott loved to fish and hunt with his nephews, friends and family. He loved to have family get togethers, enjoyed playing cards and games. He loved to tease all his nieces and nephews; he loved them all so much.
Scott was a police man for the Fort Peck Tribes also City of Wolf Point, a guard at Roosevelt County, he had many jobs around the Wolf Point area, including A&S Industries. He graduated from Chemawa Indian School in 1983 in Salem, OR. He earned his associate’s degree from FPCC in Human Resources and attended the Police Academy in Artesia, New Mexico.
Scott is survived by his son Bryce Wallentine Hennert of Kemmerer, Wyoming; sisters Robin Hendrickson of Poplar, MT, Trish Morton of Dallas, Texas, Georgie Winsor of Hawthorne, Nevada, Melody Billy of Wolf Point, Anna Moran (Don) of Poplar, MT, Christine Winsor Twiss (Edward) of Oregon; brother Mike Winsor (Nick) of Missoula, MT; uncles Norman, Alvin and Cecil; aunts Carol, Bev, Carol (Dip); many nieces and nephews, special niece Madison “Mattie” Archdale, and many cousins.
Scott is preceded in death by his father Robert J. Swain, mother Mary (Violet) Brunelle Winsor; grandparents on the Swain and Brunelle side.
Scott will be missed but will always remain in our hearts.
