Sharelene Elizabeth “Shari” Jackson Beston, “Yellow Hair Woman”, was called home to the Creator surrounded by her family on November 21, 2023.
Shari was born in Oswego, MT to Wilson and Josephine Jackson on April 16, 1943. She attended Frazer school. She met the love of her life Joseph “Joe” Beston, Sr. in 1959, they married in 1960. To this union they had four children. They moved around lived and worked in various places until 1978 when they made Frazer their home. Where she worked construction having her own roofing crew of women; she worked for Fort Peck Headstart as a cook, she worked as a teacher’s aid for Frazer school, and a certified nurses aid in Manhattan, Kansas.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Beston, Sr. of Frazer; sons, Yancey (Marlene) Beston of Frazer, Darrell Beston, Sr of Frazer, and Ryan (Shalye) Beston of Frazer; her one and only daughter, Shannon Beston of Williston, ND; grandchildren, Vangie Beston, Fawn Beston, Kameron Beston, Darrell Beston, Jr., Evan Beston, Aaron Beston, Jamie Beston, Shania Beston Lutes, Pamela Beston, Tessa Vivier, Michael Beston, Sr., Kourtney Beston, Joe Beston III, Baily Beston, Tala Beston, Aliyah Beston, Slade Beston and Dreona Beston; special great granddaughter, Shakira Beston; numerous great grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Laroque, Roslie Smoker, and Roxy Mcdonald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Josephine Jackson; siblings, Maynard, Pearly, Darrell, Merrell, Farrel, Bobby, and Jeri; her son Joe Beston, Jr.; grandsons, Trenton Beston, Rilee Beston, and Layne Williams; and great grandson Enright Beston.

A wake will be held on Monday, November 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oswego Community Hall. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oswego Community Hall. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Frazer. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
