Skyla Dawn White Hawk went with the creator on May 22, 2024 in Poplar, Montana. Skyla was a twin with Starla Murphy.

Skyla was born on July 23 rd , 1978 in Wolf Point, Montana to Valerie White Hawk and Duane White Hawk. Skyla went to school in Poplar, Wolf Point, and Wahpeton, North Dakota. She married Brian Weston, Sr. for many years. They had 4 children, Taylee, Breann, Taylor, Angel Weston, she then divorced him. She then met Adam TheBoy, Sr. They had 2 children, Adam the Boy Jr and Adan The Boy all from Wolf Point, Montana. Skyla is a grandmother to 3 grandchildren, Novalee, Darnell, Jr., Nymerah, all from Wolf Point, Montana. She had a Schatzi named Precious who was her pride and joy, she has passed away a couple years ago.

Skyla worked as a housekeeper, cook, she enjoyed working until her health worsened over time.

Skyla is survived by sisters, Donna (Alfredo) BigLeggins, of Williston, North Dakota, Dallas BigLeggins, of Poplar, Montana, Tyleen White Hawk of Wolf Point, Montana, Charletta White Hawk, of LameDeer, Montana; brothers, Robert (Jamie) Birthmark, of Poplar, Montana, Jerry Rosebluff, of Helena, Montana; her children, Taylee Weston, Breann Weston, Taylor Weston, Adam the Boy, Jr, Adan The Boy, all from Wolf Point, Montana; 3 grandchildren, Novalee Calder, Darnell Brown, Jr., Nymerah Saulteaux, all of Wolf Point, Montana. Skyla had a cousin she took as a brother, Curtis Buckles, of Wolf Point, Montana; many cousins across the reservation; many nieces and nephews too many too mention; grandmother, Rose Morsette, and Vivian Jones, of Poplar, Montana. Skyla had two long life friends, Bonnie (Orville) Burshia, and Shantell Fowler, of Wolf Point, Montana. Skyla had a long time companion, Adam The Boy, Sr., he was there when she needed him. Skyla had a best friend, Joe Low Dog (Beezer), of Wolf Point, Montana. Skyla had many family across the reservation.

Skyla loved meeting new people and making friends. Just having fun, making someone laugh with her jokes. She loved working in housekeeping and cooking, she loved coloring, crosswords, and spending as much time with her grandchildren. She loved to cruise and listening to her favorite songs.

Skyla is preceded in death by her parents, Valerie and Duane White Hawk; sisters, Starla Murphy, Tosha White Hawk; grandmother, Margret BigLeggins, Charlotte Calder; grandpa, John Morsette; aunties, Robin White Hawk, Tonya Eagle, Brenda BigLeggins; uncle Laval (Rocky) Big Leggins; daughter, Angel Weston; nephew, James Jackson, Jr., Skyla has family across the reservation too many to mention. If we missed anyone we apologize. Skyla you will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Skyla Dawn White Hawk, we all love you and will miss you dearly.

A wake will be on Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery.
