Starla”Hutch” Fawn White Hawk Murphy went to be with the creator on March 5, 2008 at Northeast Montana Health Services, Wolf Point, Montana.
Hutch was a twin, born on July 23, 1978 to Valerie Comeslast and Duane White Hawk (deceased) in Wolf Point. Hutch went to school at Wolf Point, Poplar, Montana and Wahpeton, North Dakota. On May 29, 1998 Hutch married James Murphy and had three children.
Hutch enjoyed crossword puzzles, pac-man and hanging out with her friends.
Hutch is survived by her husband, James Murphy from Sheridan, Oregon; her children, Jorda and Tayton Murphy of Parachute, Colorado; mother and stepfather, Valerie and Kenny Comeslast of Wolf Point; her twin sister, Skyla Weston of Wolf Point; sisters Donna Big Leggins, Dallas Four Bear, Tosha White Hawk, Miranda Scott, Alexis Big Leggins, Tyleen White Hawk and Charletta White Hawk , all of Wolf Point; brothers Robert Birthmark of Florence, Colorado and Duane White Hawk Jr. of Wolf Point; grandmothers, Margaret Snell Big Leggins, Agnes Ward, Rose (John) Morsette, Melissa Cantrell, Joann White Eagle, Donna Chase, Joy Gray, Darlene Longee and Marie Clark, all of Wolf Point; grandfathers, Sylvester Big Leggins of Poplar, Montana, Garrett Big Leggins of Frazer, Montana, Mosie White Hawk, Ernest Longee , Maynard Longee , all of Poplar, and Larry Longee of California; uncles, Marvin White Hawk and Warren White Hawk, both of Billings, Warren Curtis Big Leggins of Wolf Point, LaVal Big Leggins of Poplar, and Richard Big Leggins of Wolf Point; aunties Robin White Hawk , Tanya Eagle and Veronica Lambert, all of Wolf Point, Brenda Big Leggins and Shannon Alden, both of Poplar; special cousin, Curtis White Hawk of Wolf Point; and many relatives from Poplar, Frazer and Wolf Point.
Hutch is preceded in death by her father, Duane White Hawk and a daughter, Jasmine Murphy and a special niece, Angel Weston.
A wake will be held Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Wolf Point Community Hall with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Interment will follow at King Memorial Cemetery.
