Terry Lynn Blevins, age 49, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 20th, 2014 at the Malta Dragstrip. He was born the youngest of 4 children on 9/10/64 in Redfield, South Dakota, to Larry and Sharon (Hagmann) Blevins.
He lived in Redfield, SD for 5 years, then, as an army brat, he lived in many interesting places including Ft. Sill & Lawton, Oklahoma; Wahiawa, Hawaii; and Ft. Richardson, Alaska until he made his home South of Wolf Point on the family ranch in 1982.
He met Regina (Gina, Reg, Reggie) Kindred in 1993 and they started their life together in 1994. They pledged their vows later on June 2, 2000 in Gillette, Wyoming in the back yard of close friends Pat and Sandy Bauer.
Terry was a jack of all trades, working as a ranch hand for his Dad, Wally Carlson, and Mark & Rita Hardy. Moving into town, he also worked as a telemarketer for Mark Hardy and Hansen Implement before beginning work at High Plains Motors. In 1998, Terry and Gina purchased Subway and changed the name to Subs & Such, but his true love was ranching and he was able to return to work on the Blevins Ranch in 2004.
In August of 2000, Terry encouraged his wife to pursue an education in Pharmacy and supported her by working 4 jobs: Subs & Such, High Plains Motors, Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department, and the Blevins Ranch.
Terry had many interests. He enjoyed attending neighbor’s brandings, snow & water skiing, bowling, golf, boxing, watching tv (history channel), loud music, and most recently drag racing.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Kindred Blevins, his parents, Larry & Sharon Blevins, siblings, Dwayne (Sheila) Blevins, Laura (Mark) Corrales, and Tammy Brittain, all of Lawton, OK. Father-in-Law Kenneth Kindred, Brother-in-Law Troy Lamb, Sister-in-Law Carla (Chris) Creekmore; nieces, Rachel Blevins, Morgan Minyard, Kendra Lamb McGuire, and Riley Creekmore; nephews, Clint Blevins, Jonathan & Andy Brittian, Sayre Corrales, and Trevor Minyard; aunts, Deborah Hagmann and Irene (Verlin) Schock; uncles, Gary and Richard Hagmann; numerous cousins, best friends near and far, and his best friend, Molly, his dog.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Delmar & Lorraine (Burgess) Hagmann and Paternal grandparents, Willis (Bill) & Dorothy (Gast) Blevins, Grandpa-In-Law Jack Kindred, Sister-in-Law Shila (Randy) Minyard; and his first horse, Susie, given to him by his grandpa Bill.
