Thelma Huso, age 91, passed away on February 19, 2015 at Valley View Home in Glasgow, Montana.
Thelma was born April 15, 1923 to James and Ella Gidley in Richland County, Montana. In the late 1930’s the family moved to Hood River, Oregon, later returning to Montana. She worked for several years for her cousin at Gidley’s Conoco Café and Motel in Wolf Point.
On June 28, 1941 she married Kenneth Huso and they farmed and ranched northwest of Wolf Point. They had two daughters, Darlene (Calvin) Davis and Sharon (Ferris) Toavs, four grandsons, and 9 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Alice Olson of Oregon and her brother James Gidley of Judith Gap, Montana.
Thelma was preceded in death by husband Kenneth and by her sisters Faye Heser, Marie Shefelbine, her brother John Gidley, son in law Calvin Davis, and grandson James Davis.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
