Thomas Bank Clark, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend passed away on February 19, 2017 after a hard fought, courageous battle with cancer.
Tom was born February 8, 1957 to Charles and Rebecca (Melbourne) Clark. He was the third oldest of nine children. As a child, Tom worked with his siblings in their father’s garden. Tom and his brothers also worked with their father at the sprole elevator. He was known as “The Tank” playing football for Brockton.
Tom married the love of his life Linda Knudson on February 3, 1977 in Poplar. To this marriage was born two sons Tom Jr. and Chuck.
Tom was born an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He loved to dig roots and he was one of the best. He worked in the oil fields for many years. He and his wife operated the Log Cabin Bar for 30 years. He worked for Irr and then his last job was for animal control. He found that there was a “Pound Puppies” in Wolf Point so he was able to rescue many dogs.
During his fight with cancer, Tom was able to celebrate his 60 th birthday and his 40 th wedding anniversary,
Tom is survived by his wife Linda, sons Tom Jr. (Bridgette) and Chuck; siblings James (Alice) and family, David (Joann) and family, Bonnie (Vinson) and family, John (Gwen) and family, William and family, Joyce (Russ) and family, Robin (Merilee) and family, Linda “Chicken” (Todd) and family, special nephews Terrence Crow, Mick Clark and John Deacon Gundlach; half siblings Karen, Debra, Margaret and Curtis, and his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Cole, Mercadeez, Jordan, Aiden, Payton, Slim, Leandra and Thomas III “Baby Tom.”
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rebecca, his brother Charlie, his nephews Christopher Melbourne, Thomas Jerome and nieces Johnnie McClammy and Amy Kautsky.
