Tiki Ann Crow, age 36, of Poplar, MT joined our Great Father on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Riverside, MT.
Tiki was born on June 16, 1975 at the Poplar Hospital the daughter of Richard “Dickie” Crow and Marie Yellow Owl. She attended Poplar Schools until she attended Flandreau Boarding School. She obtained her CDL through Sage Tech & enjoyed driving truck for a time. She worked various jobs before spending the majority of her working career with the Fort Peck Tribes. She enjoyed attending billiard tournaments to watch her sweetheart Willie play and occasionally she entered as well. She liked attending powwows, and traveling out of town to find the best sales and bargains possible. She had a big heart and would go to the end of the Earth to help out her friends & families during their times of need.
Tiki is survived by her children, Marie Helen Ricker and Junior Ricker both of Poplar, Adam Yellow Owl and Heather Yellow Owl both of Concordia, KS; companion, Willie Ricker of Poplar; mother, Marie Yellow Owl of Poplar; sisters, Lynett K. Yellow Owl of Crockett, TX, Lindy Crow and Corrine Yellow Owl of Poplar, Michelle Speaks Thunder of Fort Belknap, MT, Deanna Shields of Portland, OR, Sheryl Woody of North Dakota, Beatrice Crow and Sunny Crow both of Rocky Boy, MT; brothers, Richard Crow, Jr. of Billings, MT, Macon Crow, Jonas Crow and Jesse Crow all of Rocky Boy, Channing Demontiney of Havre, MT, and Willie Cantrell of Poplar; and numerous aunts, uncles, and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dickie” Crow; grandmothers, Bea Belton and Gertrude Shields Yellow Owl; grandfathers, Raymond Yellow Owl and Quintin “No Tears” Crow; nephew, Emilio Cortez Venegas Ramirez; sister, Tina Crow Saddler; and numerous aunts, uncles, and relatives.
A prayer service and wake will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, December 18 at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar. Tiki’s funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 19 also at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverside Catholic Cemetery southwest of Brockton.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
