Toni Dee GreyBull, age 54 of Poplar, Montana died Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT

She was born January 1, 1954 in Wolf Point, MT the daughter of Samuel and Patricia (Boyd) Longee.

Toni graduated from Brockton High School Co-Salutatorian Class of ’71 and attended and received her Associates Degree in Business from the Fort Peck Community College.

She married Arthur GreyBull, Jr. June 7, 1973 in Poplar, MT, from this union they had two children: Arthur GreyBull III and Ashleigh GreyBull.

Toni has been employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs holding the position of Clerk from 1974-79, Loan Officer from 1979-2001, Acting Superintendent from 2002-2003 and 2006-2007, Administrative Officer 2001 to the present. In her 34 year career Toni received many honors for her outstanding work ethics; she had an open door policy; she was considered by her co-workers as the heart of the BIA.

When at at work Toni and Jr. were quite the ranch hands at their 125 head cattle ranch. Toni enjoyed beading, reading, her two children and her two owners Jonsie and Puppy Girl. Toni’s front door was always open and she would make sure you had what you needed to drink and your belly was full before you left her home; her compassion for people and animals was evident from her more than full life.

Survivors include her husband Arthur G. Grey Bull, Jr.; one son Arthur G. Grey Bull, III, of Poplar, MT; one daughter Ashleigh Grey Bull of Bozeman, MT; three brothers Richard Longee of Brockton, MT, Samuel Longee Jr. and Antone Longee both of Poplar, MT; four sisters Linda Christiansen of Poplar, MT, Vera Longee of Poplar, MT, Twila (Tim) Red Eagle of Poplar, MT, Tina Menz of Minot, ND, and Lorraina Longee of Billings, MT; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Poplar Culture Center, Poplar, MT. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com. Clayton Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
